Is a contract or SOW required to work with you?
Yes. All projects are required to provide a contract agreement or scope of work (SOW) to work with me.
If you do not have one you wish to use, I can happily provide one for you. All parties involved are required to sign before the project can began. They can be as simple as “contractor agrees to X, client agrees to Y” or as complex your business requires them to be. This ensures that I have a contractual obligation of project work to complete and ensures both parties agree to the scope of work necessary for the project to be deemed complete. Any requests for work without a signed contract or SOW will be a 100% upfront fee.
What are some client benefits when working with you?
When working with me, clients will receive more than just my research expertise. In addition to my services, I provide all clients with project engagements of 30 days or longer their own Slack channel with me. This is to ensure that you receive the best communication and collaboration when working with me.
What is the average client engagement for these services?
Clients that book projects with me on average spend 30 to 90 days working with me. For longer form projects such as annual reports or fractional content marketing that average is often higher. Longer reports can see engagement with me for up to 120 days or more. A few of my longest tenured clients that have hired me previously for fractional content marketing have averaged around 18 to 24 months.
Do you provide design work for research report projects?
No. I will be the first person to tell you I am a novice designer by hobby, not by trade.
I do have a infographic and image subscription that I use for design work on my personal blog only. However, I do provide infographic, chart, graphs, and other image design guidance to ensure your design team or hired designer has a easier lift when it comes to the design process of most research reports, white papers, eBooks, and more.
What are your payment terms?
All content and research projects require a 25% deposit due at the time of booking with signed a contract or SOW in place between all parties. This is to ensure not only timely payments are made to me, but it is also to provide project priority to clients that are booked and deposits paid when working with me. Outside of the initial deposit fee, project payment terms can vary between net-15 to net-30 days. when working with me.
I am unable to work with clients that have payment terms beyond net-30.
I also accept payments in nearly any form (i.e. ACH, Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, etc.), except checks.
